Dazzled by the Canary Wharf Winter Lights

Looking inside a light installation | Canary Wharf Winter Lights 2024

We went up to Canary Wharf last Saturday night to see the famous Winter Lights Festival. It was such a fun night and we got to see most of the lights before the cold and sore legs sent us packing for the train home. We enjoyed a superb meal at the Ivy beforehand. They have an unbeatable deal at the moment offering two courses for £19.17.

  1. This looks like fun! I went to a similar thing in Liverpool a year or so ago.

  2. The marble and neuron are simple but clever. But the sign by vendel et al is much more eye catching.

  4. I'm not familiar with Canary Wharf, Mandy, even though I've been to London a couple of times. But I do like the neon lights...and especially the "Peace" quote!

    1. I have to admit - it's not the type of place I visited often before going there for business. You might have seen it in the distance - it has the iconic HSBC building

  5. Light in the dark can be very decorative, Mandy. Wonderful series of pictures to show the creativity the designers had with the designs. I looks like a night well spent :)
